Week Ending Jan 21/22

Hello,

Please see the following re: Week of Jan 17 photos.

Thank you for a smooth transition to the resumption of in-person learning. For those whom have not returned due to various personal and familial reasons, please reach out to your child's educator to inform if you would like to opt in to Short-term Virtual Learning. A Short Term Learning Plan will keep  students regularly connected and engaged with their current classroom teacher and classroom learning. This includes student completion of the asynchronous work that educators include on a regular basis as part of their learning platforms (G Classroom or Brightspace). As well,  students have access to TDSB resources located at the following weblink: https://www.tdsb.on.ca/School-Year-2021-22/Virtual-Learning/Remote-Learning-Resources-for-Students-and-Families

As well, we would like to share a few reminders or draw your attention to the following:

PICK-UP:

At p.m. dismissal, if you are picking up your child(ren), please ensure you are waiting beyond the school entry/exit doors. We would like to ensure a safe handoff of our students by the teachers to the parents/caregivers.

START OF THE DAY:

Students should be arriving daily between 8:40-8:55 in the designated school yard. 8:55 is the start of day.

Rapid Antigen Tests:

Today we sent home the Rapid Antigen Tests (2 per student). The tests are for use when your child is symptomatic (voluntary). The instructions have been supplied in the package (bag). This is a link for the instructions: Take-Home Rapid Antigen Test We have also included the children/students screening tool. Please review and become familiar with the screening tool, including the second page which provides direction on isolation measures in a variety of scenarios based on age and vaccination status.

Marnie is a parent to one of our Gr. 1 French Immersion students and this Friday she is going to talk to our school about the importance of Teamwork.
