Aquatic Centre Update:
Many parents have been asking about construction of the new
Aquatic Centre on the west side of our school. Construction is scheduled
to begin in the ‘Fall of 2022’. Prior to the project beginning, parents
will be invited to a community safety meeting to explain how the city will
manage the project and help maintain a safe environment for our students and
community. Stay tuned for more details in the fall!
New Playground Update:
Our playscape is scheduled to begin installation in the
middle of September. It should take a few weeks to complete the
installation. We will send out details about exact dates in September.
Virtual School 2021-2022 Devices and Virtual Learning Devices 2022-2023:
This is a reminder to please return the TDSB loaned student devices that were being used for VS this year to your homeschool. IT Services will be administratively locking unreturned devices that were loaned to support remote learning from March 2020 to June 2022. This will occur on June 30, 2022. The locking process will cause the devices to be non-functional to anyone.
As well, students participating in virtual learning next school year, will be provided with a device (Chromebook) by IT Services. The devices will be shipped to the student's 2021-2022 home school the week of August 29 for the student to pick up prior to the first day of school. Devices should have been requested at the time of registration.

Outdoor Summer Family Activities:
With summer fast approaching, students will be looking for things to do. Getting outside, where possible, is a great way to enjoy the summer and connect with others.
Parents/caregivers/guardians can help support outdoor learning at school and beyond. Time spent outdoors is beneficial to everyone and improves physical and mental health, and well-being. There are lots of great ways to get outside as a family and enjoy the physical and mental health benefits from being outdoors. Outdoor activities provide a much-needed screen break and can be as simple as taking a walk or sitting outside.
