Friday, June 24, 2022-Principal and Vice-Principals for the Day!
Costume Day: Monday, June 27!
We are pleased to announce that the following student Bhoomi (Gr 2) was Principal for half the day on Friday. Bhoomi decided that as part of her responsibilities she would like the students to dress up in a costume on Monday, June 27. As well, Bhoomi offered that the students watch a video for some part of the afternoon on Friday.
Lyla (Gr 4)and Norah (Gr 4) were Vice-Principals for half the day as well on Friday. As part of their leadership they decided the students would participate in the following on Friday: gum chewing or Starburst afternoon, music playing over the Public Announcement system from 3:15-3:30 and an extended afternoon recess.
They did a wonderful job supervising and supporting our staff and students. They would make wonderful TDSB future Administrators. We loved working alongside you!

Outdoor Summer Family Activities:
With summer fast approaching, students will be looking for things to do. Getting outside, where possible, is a great way to enjoy the summer and connect with others.
Parents/caregivers/guardians can help support outdoor learning at school and beyond. Time spent outdoors is beneficial to everyone and improves physical and mental health, and well-being. There are lots of great ways to get outside as a family and enjoy the physical and mental health benefits from being outdoors. Outdoor activities provide a much-needed screen break and can be as simple as taking a walk or sitting outside.
